Travel I can ship kayaks and other stuff to the Færoes for free but they will be away for an extended period (upto 6months), so the plan is to use 4 Plastic Capellas. Personal transport from UK is via Stansted Airport or Denmark and Atlantic Airways (May-Sep) and is the main cost. The flights are Monday and Friday so a 10 day trip Friday to Monday would work. Cost is 3315DKK about 310GBP for a full flex fare. The semi flex fare reduces the price but needs to be booked early and then fixes our weather window. From DK we can fly from Arhus, Billund or Kobenhavn in DK. I have access to Island transport and storage space at Vagar airport courtesey of the RDN.
Route Map of proposed 5 day route. Flex is needed as the weather factor is very real however, there are many lakes and sheltered areas so some kayaking will be achieved whatever including for example Saksun Harbour.
